Data Engineering Lead
Lead the data engineering team and run the companys data platform used for reporting, analytics and AI tooling. Role covers platform architecture, pipelines, reliability and stakeholder collaboration within the payments product set.
What you'll do
- Plan and prioritise team delivery and remove blockers
- Define and enforce engineering and data platform standards
- Design and document ingestion, transformation and serving architecture
- Operate and optimise pipelines, dbt, Airflow and BigQuery workloads
- Lead incident response, data quality and CI/CD for data code
What they're looking for
- 6+ years in data or backend engineering on production systems
- At least 1 year leading or mentoring data engineers
- Strong Python and advanced SQL skills
- 2+ years production dbt and Airflow operational experience
- Production experience with BigQuery and GCP components
